Besonderheiten: Dieser Slyrs Single Malt Whisky erhält durch die Nachreifung in Marsala-Weinfässern aus Sizilien eine besondere Tiefe und Komplexität. Nach einer dreijährigen Reifung in amerikanischen Weißeichenfässern wird der Whisky in Marsala-Fässer umgefüllt, wodurch er die fruchtigen Aromen des Marsala-Weins aufnimmt und mit den malzigen Noten des Slyrs Whiskys harmoniert.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Aromatische Fruchtnoten von Erdbeeren und roten Johannisbeeren, begleitet von einer leichten Süße.
  • Gaumen: Geschmack von gekochten Früchten, ähnlich einer Konfitüre, mit einer kräftigen und wärmenden Muskatnuss-Note.
  • Abgang: Angenehm lang mit einer deutlich präsenten Slyrs-Note.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Slyrs Destillerie wurde 1999 von Florian Stetter im bayerischen Schliersee gegründet. Sie ist bekannt für die Herstellung von Single Malt Whiskys aus bester bayerischer Gerste und verwendet dabei das Pot-Still-Verfahren in Kupferbrennblasen. Die Reifung erfolgt in Fässern aus amerikanischer Weißeiche, wobei für spezielle Finishes auch Fässer aus anderen Regionen, wie beispielsweise Marsala-Fässer aus Sizilien, zum Einsatz kommen.

I received this on May 23rd and on June 8th, after playing with this thing every day, our recently acquired 36 lb dog finally ripped it open and got out all the plastic and the squeaky part. Lily Belle will miss you, chicken. Lily loooooved this toy! She'd toss it in the air, chew on it, pull it with her teeth etc. but as much as she loved it, we won't replace it. It's just not durable enough for her. If your dog is an aggressive chewer, you might want to try a different toy. I hate that this lasted just a smidge over two weeks because Lily seemed to truly enjoy this toy. RIP, squeaky chicken!
