HMF Immune combines proprietary human strain probiotics with vitamins C and D to provide targeted support for the immune system. Each convenient, once-daily chewable tablet provides a blend of five research-driven probiotic strains from both the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium genera. As nearly 80% of the bodys immunologically active cells are located in gut-associated lymphoid tissue, an important connection has been demonstrated between the intestines and the immune system.1 In addition to supporting gastrointestinal health, HMF Immune includes Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (Bl-04), a strain that has been shown in a clinical trial to reduce the risk of developing and the duration of upper respiratory tract illness in physically active adults.2 Additionally, it offers Lactobacillus acidophilus (CUL-60 & CUL-21), Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (CUL-34) and Bifidobacterium bifidum (CUL-20), which were demonstrated in a clinical trial to support upper respiratory tract health when combined with vitamin C.3 To further help maintain immune function, HMF Immune contains vitamins C and D. Vitamin C supports the immune system by regulating lymphocyte proliferation, natural killer cell activity and immunoglobulin production, while vitamin D helps control T cell activation, cytokine release and phagocytosis in macrophages.4 Research demonstrates that vitamins C and D may be especially effective in maintaining immune function in the respiratory tract.5,6 This convenient shelf-stable format has guaranteed potency at expiry and may improve patient compliance.

I've been using this product for 2 years and it works as stated. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin at all. Every so often, I've asked those close to me if they've noticed any odors over the past two years and they've always replied no. I've used other brands previously that were specifically labeled as "gentle" or for "sensitive skin", which were anything but. Those were also HIGHLY scented and irritated my skin, unlike this product which is very effective without all the unnecessary chemical additives. I feel the coconut oil has soothing properties and it actually helps keep my underarm skin healthy instead of making it parched, like other brands do. This product doesn't state that it's for sensitive skin but for me it's far more gentle than any other brand I've used. I also like that it doesn't contain any harsh anti-perspirants so my body can breathe and cool itself off properly through the natural act of sweating. The act of sweating releases toxins through your skin pores so it's not healthy to impede that process. This product supports that natural process by not containing any anti-perspirant chemicals. Although it's labeled as unscented, science will tell you that everything in the world has a scent (even water) and this product has a very minimal wisp of a scent that's nearly imperceptible. Manufacturer's usually refer to this as a 'masking scent' so you don't notice the smell of chemicals in a product. However, this product has minimal chemicals (that's why I chose it) so there's not much to cover up and that's a good thing! Neither I, nor anyone else that I've asked, can detect a fragrance. The ONLY time I can smell anything is when I apply it to my underarms, so the product is obviously in closer proximity to my nose. As I glide it across my skin a faint scent of a Lifesaver's pineapple flavor candy takes me immediately back to my happy childhood memories. It lasts for a few seconds and then it's gone. Could just be me but every time I use this I end up with a smile on my face. 😊 I think this happens because your underarm skin is warm so the deodorant also warms and the solidified coconut oil melts a bit as you apply it, which releases the barely-there scent. I don't smell coconut, I smell glorious pineapple! Whoever thought to make it like this is genius! For those of you who don't smell anything for those few seconds, you're missing out.
