Moss Rose White seeds germinate very fast, and it is very easy to grow this popular annual plant from seeds. Portulaca Grandiflora is a compact growing succulent plant that forms a dense carpet of needle-like foliage and blooms with masses of very showy single, semi-double or double, white flowers that resemble roses.
Moss Rose White is an easy-to-grow, low maintenance ground cover and this succulent flower is also a popular choice for growing in flower beds, rock gardens, along walkways, containers, and hanging baskets. Moss Rose looks absolutely beautiful trailing over stone walls and showing masses of vivid white blooms. In addition to direct sowing outdoors in spring, Portulaca Grandiflora seeds can be started indoors in winter 6-8 weeks before last frost. The versatile and hardy Moss Rose White tolerates poor soil, heat, drought, but occasional watering is advised for the best performance. Moss Rose plant care includes cutting back the plants during the summer to help them to stay neat and to extend their blooms into fall.
