Het verhaal van RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS speelt zich af tijdens de gebeurtenissen tussen Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 aan boord van cruise schip 'Queen Zenobia' waarvan men dacht dat deze verlaten was… Met een gebrek aan munitie en wapens is de tocht naar het vasteland een overlevingsrace waarbij je haren recht overeind zullen staan.

RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS biedt vele extra's zoals een nieuwe angstaanjagende vijand, een extra moeilijke mode en verbeteringen aan de Raid Mode zoals nieuwe wapens en skill sets en de mogelijkheid om als Hunk en andere karakters uit de voorgaande series te spelen.

Speel de game Solo of Co-op, zowel online als offline. Dankzij het innovatieve Crossover-systeem kunnen spelers op verschillende momenten online een team vormen om samen bepaalde situaties op te lossen en vijanden te overwinnen.

RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS zal volledig gebruik maken van Residentevil.net waar extra content verkrijgbaar zal zijn na de lancering van de game. Spelers kunnen zich al registreren vanaf 24 januari om zo voortijdig toegang te krijgen tot extra content, en informatie te ontvangen over online events die plaats zullen vinden voorafgaand aan de release.
