Zoals we bij de Champagnes al gewend waren gaan de wijnmakers in Argentinië ook alleen meer voor goud.De oude wijngaard van Terrazas de los Andes Grand Malbec
De druiven voor deze Terrazas de los Andes Grand Malbec zijn afkomstig van viertien verschillende wijngaarden elke met een eigen terroir. Deze speciale wijn van Terrazas word alleen in extreem goede vintage jaren uitgebracht en is daarmee altijd van een uitzonderlijke kwaliteit. De Malbec druiven aan de oude ranken in de meest begeerde stukken land in de Mendoza. Het terroir voor de druiven is hier werkelijk perfect. Deze prachtige wijngaard is gelegen op een hoogte van 1067 meter boven de zeespiegel en ontvangt hierdoor alle perfecte invloeden van het klimaat. De oogst voor dit pareltje van Terrazas geschied volledig met de hand. Zowel in de wijngaarden als vlak voor de persing vind er een strenge selectie plaats welke druiven er geschikt zijn voor deze geweldige rode wijn. Na de vinificatie rijpt deze Terrazas Grand Malbec 14 tot 16 maanden op nieuwe Franse eikenhouten vaten met een regelmatige overplaatsing. Deze overplaatsing zorgt ervoor dar de wijn helder wordt zinder filtratie. Na de botteling gaat deze rode wijn voor 18 maanden terug de kelders van Terrazas in voor een mooie fles rijping. Na deze periode is het feest, de wijn is klaar!De geur en smaak van de Terrazas Los Compuertas Malbec
Bij het inschenken van deze bijzondere wijn zijn we meteen geboeid door de diepe donker rode kleur die een vrijwel zwarte kern vertoont. De geur voor deze Grand Malbec van Terrazas is complex en karakteristiek voor de Malbec. Rijke aroma’s van zwart fruit, kruiden, gedroogde abrikozen en een hint van Chocolade en vanille doen inmiddels vele zintuigen prikkelen. De smaak is bijzonder, complex en werkelijk waar Heerlijk met een hoofdletter H! Wat een feest dat wij deze prachtige rode wijn mogen proeven! Heerlijk smaaknuances van rijp zwart fruit dansen over de tong met hinten van specerijen, cacao, vanille en een licht pepertje. I bought these for my memory foam pillow and they’re excellent for cooling it. I use 2 of these on the pillow for maximum chill factor and it works.
They’re very soft, the zippers are high quality. Easy to put on with a bit of stretch- generously sized. They’re stain resistant. I’m glad they’re NOT waterproof because they’d be too hot then. They’re very durable. Wash on delicate setting in a mesh bag and air dry and they last long. They’re very quiet- smooth and silky. Definitely recommend!

Cool enough

I thought I had purchased pillows so when I received these I was a little disappointed. However that was 100% on me for not reading the listing and just trusting my search. I decided to give them a try and so far they seem ok. They don’t stay cool even though I have them on cooling pillows. They are super thin but very soft. They fit on my pillows perfectly. I don’t think it has improved my sleep quality but it hasn’t made it any worse either. I don’t think they are waterproof but I don’t really want to test that. I like that the zipper is small and seems to be decent quality. Smelled heavily of chemicals when I first took it out of the package but that disappeared after a few minutes.
